The MOTTA BARISTA Group Cleaning Brush is designed for the daily cleaning of the espresso group head, shower screen and group gasket. It efficiently removes coffee grounds, coffee oils and brewing residues that accumulate around the brewing group after every extraction, helping maintain both espresso quality and machine hygiene.
Manufactured in Italy by MOTTA, one of the world's leading professional barista equipment manufacturers, this brush is suitable for commercial cafés, restaurants and demanding home baristas.
Most baristas perform a short group flush between espresso shots to remove loose coffee particles. This is considered good practice and helps rinse the shower screen.
However, water cannot always reach the areas surrounding the group gasket, where coffee oils and fine grounds gradually accumulate. Over time these deposits may prevent the portafilter from seating correctly inside the group head and may contribute to uneven sealing or minor water leaks.
The long ergonomic handle allows the group head to be cleaned immediately after extraction while keeping hands safely away from hot water and heated metal components.
